Turn your world upside down!

Inversions are a big part of the Iyengar Yoga method. There’s headstand, shoulderstand, handstand, forearm balance — just to name a few. But how do you get started learning these poses? And are they safe to practice?

If you want your inversion questions answered come to the Inversions Basics target class! This class is good for any level student. And those from other styles of yoga are encouraged to attend.

Inversion Basics
Saturday, May 19
2-4pm

REGISTER ONLINE or when you come to class.

A note: in this video Aaron is holding a headstand for a number of minutes. Do not be intimidated. Students will only be allowed to stand on their hands, heads or shoulders when they are ready. It’s conceivable that many people attending this class won’t actually kick up into the final poses. Instead, they will be taught the preliminary actions which they can work on in order to build up to kicking up. And over time, if the practicing is consistent, then kicking up off the floor will the next easy step. Until then… just keep practicing!
