Let’s Practice

Welcome to the Let’s Practice pages! These pages are here to guide you to start, maintain or deepen your practice.

Bring any questions with you to class. All of the other students will benefit from hearing your question. If your need help outside of class send an email (aaron@collegehillyoga.com).

Start by clicking through all of the sections below, just to see what’s here. Then, download the documents in the Begin Here section. Give yourself time to thoughtfully work through the exercises. They will help set you on the right path.

Download and print ALL of these documents. Begin withe the Getting Started worksheet and proceed in order completing the others. Do not be in a rush to complete the tasks. (but don’t take the entire semester either 🙂

Props

Recommended: yoga mat, two wooden or cork blocks and one strap
Optional: three yoga blankets, one bolster and one backless chair

Note: You don’t need to have props to start practicing. If money is tight just use what you have in your house. Or don’t use any at all.

Where to purchase props? I always recommend purchasing props from Yoga Mart. Marj sells very good handmade props. If you invest in a good set of props you can use them the rest of your life. It’s worth it.
