Join Aaron Fleming (Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher) for a monthly longer class to investigate different topics. All levels. Iyengar Yoga experience not required–those from other styles of yoga encouraged to attend.
March 23: Vinyasa the Iyengar Way
A ‘get moving’ class! Learn how to move from pose to pose with greater awareness and safety.
April 27: Chasing Urdhva Dhanurasana (upward bow)
We will learn how to practice and prepare for backbends with urdvha dhanurasana as our target.
May 18: Fun with Arm Balancing
Fundamentals of arm balancing poses involve strength, compactness, and focus.
June 15: Inversion Fundamentals
We will study the actions needed to establish strong, steady, and “light” inversions.
July 20: Restorative Practice with Pranayama
Penetrating sequence to quiet and strengthen our nerves and prepare for Pranayama (meditative breathing).
